Privacy Notice — Act 843

We safeguard personal and professional data in accordance with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). Information collected through forms and event registrations is used only for legitimate professional administration, member verification and educational delivery. It is never sold, leased or disclosed to unauthorised parties.

Terms of Use & General Disclaimer

Materials, checklists and forms are for general professional development and education. They are not formal legal, accounting, tax or audit opinions. Users must exercise professional competence and verify current standards and statutes.

Technical Helpdesk Disclaimer

Helpdesk responses are non-binding peer guidance. They are not official ICAG rulings or statutory interpretations, and do not transfer responsibility from the requesting practitioner or firm.

Complaints & Due Process

The Society facilitates complaint intake but is not a judicial body. Investigation, hearings and sanctions remain within ICAG’s statutory structures. Information is handled confidentially and fairly.

Disciplinary Publication Policy

Only final sanctions are published after applicable internal appeals are exhausted or statutory publication is ordered. Notices state effective dates and are updated following restoration to good standing.

Donation & Sponsorship Transparency

Contributions are recorded for approved programmes under the oversight of the Honorary Treasurer and Executive Committee. Sponsorship does not influence technical positions or disciplinary matters.
